Hi Lil
I've been trawling this site for a while trying to find someone who can point me in the right direction - I want to find a forum for learning French. There are no classes which i can attend in my locality, so i'm a bit stumped. I have plenty of resource books, and a bit of motivation, but what I really need is somebody, or ideally lots of bodies, to practise with. Any thoughts on where i should look?

Salut Jeff,
It's a good question - there are tonnes of French learning resources on the net but it's all a bit isolating; conversation has got to be the best way to go in my opinion. Have you tried getting in touch with the nearest university to you ? Ours has a language centre that's open to students and non-students alike, they do conversation and language classes ... you never know, it might be a start ...
bonne chance !!
Lil
