This morning I caught it in time. I heard the NPR theme starting up in my brain... I then quickly battled it with the theme song from Code Monkeys (an 8-bit cartoon on G4).

There I am, thinking I've finally just about beaten this horrendous bout of musicosis when what should I hear playing in the background as I go grocery shopping Saturday?

OK... I think I'm finally over it... I really do. Now I can hear the NPR Morning Edition bumper music without necessarily getting that Orleans song stuck in my head.

Sure, that's sad and all, but it's also very irritating.

I'm listening to NPR at work and twice an hour I'm hearing clips of "The Good Ship Lollipop" and "Animal Crackers in my Soup".
