Yea. I've met several shuttle astronauts over the years, but this guy was one of the first. He was in town to speak to the folks involved with the Constellation project (next moon shot).

I had someone pop in just now. He was here in the building getting his teeth cleaned (photography and video share the building with the clinic) and wanted to take a look at the scanner I'm working with to scan his (and many others') film.

His big question was "Why are you scanning at a higher resolution than the film grain?"
I agree, at 5µ it's overkill, but it's in the requirements for this project. 10µ is plenty. That's a 161MB tiff file. 1.3GB is just ridiculous
