Movie Script Plan: Cold Hard Betrayal
Omega 3 - The Mixing Dude Started conversation Jul 4, 2004
Okay, I'm sticking with the title. Here is part of the Script plan. I don't want it all out, or it would spoil the movie. Anyway, it will be available after the movie airs on the website. I will be sure to provide the link.
Script plan: Cold Hard Betrayal
Overview: This is set somewhat in the near future, because of technology, and some fictional powers of the Director of the CIA. I need to do a little research on the powers of the Director of the CIA, and what I could have happen after this…
Chapter 1: Beginning infiltration
In this scene, the credits are shown while Robert Driggs, the main character, infiltrates a facility. The point of this scene is to show the kind of work he does, and what is in store for the rest of the movie. Not much spoken word, but Action should be great. Anyway, the mission goes terribly, and Robert fails. He gets a comm-call (Video-cell phone), saying he has been put on suspension. He doesn’t understand since it seems he wasn’t able to prevent the problem from occurring. His boss reviews the overview of the corps he works for, a secret organization, started by his boss, the Deputy Director of intelligence at the CIA (2nd in command).
Chapter 2: Mission Briefing [A couple months later]
This will be placed in the office or in Robert’s home, with people on the phone. Robert is reinstated as a field agent after only one month, so he has been on duty for a while. He had planned a vacation, but his boss calls him into a mission briefing, where he is shown the layout of his next mission. It is to be carried out in the Highest security. It is such a high risk, that if Robert should be caught, his relationship with the agency is erased. He is to assassinate a traitorous (high-ranking) official (Supposedly the Military Advisor to the CIA). The plan is to infiltrate an ally base while he is on routine inspection, and eliminate him.
Chapter 3: The Mission (Into the Fox-hole)
He infiltrates successfully, but when he isolates the target, he finds it is not the Military Advisor, but the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He is just about to radio for further instructions, when a mysterious assassin appears, and fires at the Director of CIA. Unfortunately, the mystery guest has turned on the security cameras and fired while Robert’s gun was still raised. Unfortunately, his problem is avoiding the security teams rushing to the scene of the murder, and he could not find anything out about the mystery Assassin.
Chapter 4: The Cut-off (On Your Own…)
This scene appears after he escapes, and shows that the agency really disavowed any knowledge whatsoever of his connection there. He desperately tries to piece together what had happened. Fortunately, Robert has a contact who he trusts at the agency, and tries to contact him. However, his friend believes Robert has gone bad, so he tips off the police to his location. Afterward, he phones his boss, to ask what happened…
Chapter 5: The Truth (Revelation)
Robert phones his boss, but is shocked to discover that his boss set him up. It was a phony mission to frame him, the corps’ best agent, and get the dirty work done. He needed the Director of the CIA dead to take command of the CIA. From there, he has access to most of the United States. He could slowly, but surely, put his plans into effect and take over the United States, then the world.
To be continued...
