Adopted by ducks at work

All this week we've had 3 ducks sat outside the office entrance all day.
2 males and 1 female, usually sat on the grass or the concrete with the males either side of the female and arranged to between them they have a full view around themselves - very strategic ducks these!
Dunno why they have adopted us, there's a couple of artificial lakes in the wildlife zone about 10mins walk from here.
And all they do is sit there, occasionally getting up to move a few feet to another bit of grass/concrete and then sitting down again and doing nothing.
Someone has kindly put out a bowl of water for them (which is sometimes used by other birds). Lazy things, but nice to have a bit of wildlife sitting outside when you walk in/out the office.

They don't sound very wild.
sounds much better than the aggressive seagulls we tend to get around here.

ah, well, not seen what they get up to when we've all left the office yet!
If it is anything like some of the student antics caught on CCTV then wild would be an understatement!

Count Duckula
Would explain the doing nothing all day. And if they only have students to feed off then I can understand why they might not be getting enough life restoring blood - too much alcohol in it!
