Rasputaltron's cameo-Dont get me wrong, Raspy wasnt supposed to appear in this story after his brief cameo. I just thought that it would be a surprise for him to turn up, foiling the Doctors plans without even knowing it.
Lord Raxaar-I based Raxaar on the previous Ice Lords in the series, mainly on Azaxyr from The Monster of Peladon, but I gave him an evil streak, which some of the other lords seemed to be lacking.

The Dare - The inclusion of the Rutans was actually a dare from one of the other members of the BBCi board, you challenged us to manage to include the Rutans in a Ice Warrior's story.
Xinal - At the time of writing this story I'd just started to read The Dying Days ebook on BBCi and I always had the image of Xinal in my head as one of the huge, bulky and very cool Ice Warriors as illustrated for that book.

The Seventh Episode - In the original version (as seen on BBCi) the sixth episode was a mammoth spectacular, taking up about of the third of the actually story. Due to this I have split the sixth episode in two to make it easier to read (and post )
