So, you're living in Fodla now then? And I see you've got a new man too, is he called Paddy, or Mick?

Hiya TB, nein, he is called Peter & he's German, but has lived here a long time, like 20 yrs or so, but travelled a lot....it's great to find my school German comes back so quickly, French was bluddy difficile, but obviously we squeak mostly in English.
It seems weird, i seem to often get on better with folk who are *not* truly English, maybe 'cos i'm not quite sure of my own "ethnicity" (Political Correctness time!)...i feel no great link to U.K; home is where i happen to be. Delving into dark family past, as far as i can tell; i'm a 1/4 English; 1/4 Indian & 1/2 Irish, but it's all a bit of a mystery, since as far as i know all of them are dead now!
Do you have a place you would truly refer to as your "Homeland"?

well I suppose most of my genetic code originated in sunny Scandinavia. However there's some middle-eastern bits in there too. Grew up in Birmingham and now live on the side of a fjord in the west highlands of Scotland.
I support Scotland during the 6 Nations, and always have done... except when it was the 5 Nations... then I supported Scotland in the 5 Nations.
