Corporations have 95 years for their copyrights!
The first example- Diebold company started this complaint after people posted the information about the voting machines on the internet.

The DMCA is evil, and the constant haranguing of big corporations to extend the copyright period on works is little better. Disney is the worst - when they realised that the copyright on early Mickey Mouse movies was about to expire they successfully lobbied congress to extend copyright from 75 years to 95 years. This has seriously screwed people like The Gutenberg Project, who are trying to archive - for everyone and for free - all public domain books and documents http://www.gutenberg.net

When copyright was first introduced it only lasted 20 years from the date of publication. It was thought that new works would be encouraged because writers would need to keep writing in order to make money.
