YES!! NOT LAME!

Today was actually quite fun. i woke up this morning, played with the chicks, and then my dad and i went to the art festival downtown, and i was like, "hey, lets ride the lightrail!" so that was fun because i've always enjoyed riding the lightrail. it was really crowded. so at the Denver Pavilions (art festival location) we were just meandering about looking at the art, some of it i liked, some of it, i quite honestly couldn't have cared less about. then we went to goodtimes to have lunch. they have the best fries eveh! After that, we went to walk around the really old part of Denver (aka LoDo). all of the buildings there are really neat. and as we walked around, i secretly in my head flipped off the lame buildings that were built in the place of other old really cool wonderful buildings. Then we went down to Union Station. that is a wonderful building. at the time when it was build, it was the tallest building in Denver. and when you go inside, you feel like it still is the tallest in Denver because it has such incredibly high ceilings. i have to say it again. it truley is one of the most beautiful buildings in Denver. so elegant. but it's too quiet. when you walk in, the only people there are like, the ticket office dude and the janitor. i would have loved to have seen it about 100 years ago, when train was the main way to get around. it has these enourmous pew like things, only their double backed, and really tall. and on the last friday of the month, you can go into the basement where they have these huge model train sets, and they're all going around, and it's really fun to watch them.
so anyway, in order to get ontp the platform, you have to go down this little ramp, and it takes you underground, underneath all of the tracks, and when you come to your platform, you go up the stairs. it's also where you can get back on the lightrail. so dad and i got on and finally went home. happy day.
