Hi Oggie
Seems we have a good deal in common. Not only do I enjoy your Limerick contributions, but we were both welcomed to h2g2 by *manda*.
Am also retired, but involuntarily, enjoy gardening and woodworking.
Cheers,

Hi John,
Likewise on the retirement, 'popped' a couple of discs in the neck, had them taken out but the cord is a bit chewed up, working on the physio and hoping brain will remember where the rest of it is. Mind and hands ok and got the car converted to hand controls so I get out and about a bit now - seems to be coming right, better off than many. Thank God for Computers and the internet, spent the first 3 months joining up imaginary dots on a textured ceiling.
Live at Thirsk, North Yorkshire, U.K. you guys will call that Herriot Country after the adventures of our local vets, both now passed on. By the way, they REALLY were like that!
Keep the sense of humour stoked up, I look forward to my twice daily visit to h2g2.
Best wishes, OGGIE (Bob)
