Everyone wants to know where the teams got their names (Well at least i did) so sharing it felt like a good thing to do.

That is a damn fine idea 
The execution of it could use some polishing though. That's an awfully large lump of text to be faced with, and very difficult to read. How about dividing it up into, for instance American and National Leagues. You could even go as far as to divide those further into the regional divisions.
A little GuideML will help enormously. It's not too difficult, and there's plenty of info here <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>

Hi, Shanill Trudor!
There are a few things you could do to make this entry easier to follow for people who don't know much about baseball.
First, change the title to Major League Baseball Team Names - most people outeside the US won't recognise the abbreviation MLB.
Then put in a short paragraph at the beginning giving a little background: Which league is more important, or are they rivals? What is an expansion team? Why do teams move around?
That would help to make the entry more accessible to peole who don't know much about baseball.
