Peanut felt poorly last week and got worse on Saturday after we visited a friend of mine who has a dog that sheds everywhere. Since we were only a few miles from the after-hours care place, Mr. Emee and I decided to take Peanut to see the . The listened to Peanut breathe, checked her ears and sent her for x-rays. Thankfully, Peanut didn't have pneumonia but because her breathing was so labored and a bit wheezy, the sent us to the hospital across the street for an overnight visit. Finally got out of there yesterday at about 2:30. We have to give Peanut breathing treatments with a nebulizer for a while and she was given steroids for her allergies. I've a call in to my now to see if they'll phone in a prescription for me for antibiotics so that I won't have to drive an hour each way to see her. Hurray for sinus and ear infections. Mr. Emee should be home by noon and will see a local early this afternoon for the same thing. Peanut is feeling better though and went to daycare. They've done breathing treatments for babies before so I know I've left her in good hands. Plus, this way I can get some sleep. I sure didn't sleep in the hospital.

Thanks! We're finally all on the mend. Peanut is doing the best of the 3 of us. She was well enough to go to daycare Monday & Tuesday so I stayed home and slept.

It's loverly to stay at home and sleep if it weren't for that poorly feeling.
