Will have an official linen closet instead of a linen portion of my husband's closet and it will have an official laundry room instead of a laundry closet in the hall next to my bedroom. Aside from having every stitch of clothing clean at every moment, there is no way to avoid having laundry baskets or dirty clothes or both out in the hall where the disapproving MIL can view then press her lips together and frown. Ugh. It's not like she's perfect. After supper, I went to Peanut's room to help her get dressed for the concert. MIL had just left. Must have had one hell of a lunch. I about fell over from the noxious fumes. Usually it's just the dog the that does the "toot and scoot".

I had a roommate in college who was a self proclaimed "clean freak". He would get twisted in unbelievable knots if I left both of the loose sofa pillows on one end of the couch. He would shut my door every time he saw my unmade bed in the afternoon... whatever.
He wasn't a "clean freak" though, he was a "neat freak" maybe. He liked things tidy but not clean. He would leave dirty dishes in the sink for a week and would never take out the trash. I'd come back after a weekend away and be knocked down at the door from the stench of rotting alfredo sauce and tap water in the sink.

Bleh. Clean is more important than tidy which is why my bed is only made when I change the sheets and why I have laundry in the hall.
