Christmas went alright. Mom didn't totally freak out about stuff - just minor freak outs but those are to be expected since she's so type A and none of the rest of us are. The girls got about a million presents. We're going to have to start puting Peanut to bed earlier, maybe 8pm. She was crying and not wanting to go to bed by 9 last night - didn't get her full nap in and really I don't think she gets all the nap she needs at daycare either. On weekends she'll take a 3 hour nap but at daycare they only get 2 hours. So, early to bed with rising at 7am makes Peanut more manageable and mommy less stressed and prone to losing her temper.
We hit a coyote on the way home from mom's. I need a new bumper and fog light and who knows what else. Mr. Emee needs to go see a chiropractor. His neck is out now. The girls are both sick. The baby was getting better but now is much worse - coughing, runny nose and now a fever for added fun. Peanut is getting a sinus infection. Mr. Emee is at home with them this week and will be taking them to the sometime today. That will make Peanut happy. She loves to go to the doctor.
My MIL and SIL and Uncle-IL came over yesterday afternoonish and stayed for dinner. My MIL brought Mr. Emee an autographed TX bikini team calendar that belonged to my late FIL. Wasn't that nice of her? She did it because Mr. Emee had met one of the posers when he was 14ish and his dad took him to some car show. Wasn't that special? Explains a hell of a lot about their family dynamic. Who does that? I mean really. And so what if the calendar was signed. Sell the thing on eBay or throw it away. Could she be any more disrespectful? I don't want to see other women's airbrushed, be-thonged butt cracks on my wall. It's not exactly a family legacy we can show to visitors. Bah.

Woo! It gets better. My MIL is coming to stay the night tonight so that Mr Emee can play lumberjack tomorrow. I need to get more Sprite to go with that Crown.

Peanut has strep throat and an ear infection. The baby has an ear infection and possibly RSV. Won't know for sure until the lab work comes back.

Your MIL needs to be . . . I don't even know what. Who gives such a thing? WHO? I hope you are able to throw it away or sell it on eBay or something. That's just gross.
