Emee, out from under the rock

I have a phone interview tomorrow with John Deere in KS for a job similar to the one I'm doing - full time permanent position and probably more money but a longer drive again. They have another couple of openings that Mr. Emee would qualify for so maybe we'll just be Kansans now. There's a 3 story Victorian house with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for sale there for $64K. That's as good a reason as any to move. smiley - winkeye A move would mean new smiley - doctor and new daycare.

I'm just getting tired of the games here. I was told I would be full time either at the end of the year or just after the first of the new year. It's mid-February now and the last thing I was told was that it might be at the end of March or early April and that it all depends on our sales. What kind of carp is that? Either they can afford me or not. I know that benes cost a company quite a bit but so does having to bring in someone new and train them after I quit. I just wonder what sort of probationary period they have. If it's too long, the baby will be here before the short term disability kicks in. smiley - yikesOf course, if I stay where I am and they put off hiring me, I'll be in the same boat.smiley - headhurts There's no waiting before benes kick in at the current company, but I've heard that they tend to let people languish on contract for a year at which point they are required to either hire or fire.
