Pride and Prejudice is a brilliant novel, Bridget Jones is fun, it depends on your taste really, I mean at its basics they're the same story, I guess it's just how you prefer to interpret themsmiley - smiley

I did enjoy how the two male actors mentioned in the book happen to be the main charcters in the film.
It kinda messes up making the sequal into a film though.

it isn't actually causing much of a problem...Colin Firth is up for it and I don't think minds the idea of having to put on a bit of a diguise to play himself.

It should be, I@m just worried about how different they'll make the story to the sequel, I mean there are some seriously funny situations B gets into, and they've completely changed the mother story so what effect will that have?

And there's the whole thing of Princess Di's death, which is a long time ago, and the first film appeared to be set after that had already happened.

Yeah...and how likely is it they're going to keep in the whole Thailand experience...don't think Magic Mushrooms are what the producers will be after.

pretty much, ach they'll work it out some how.

I quite liked the ending to the film, I mean I loved the whole ending to the book, "it's a biscuit"smiley - winkeye afterall.

BUt in a 90 minute film is kinda worked.
