OK, so what does one write in a journal that can be viewed by all and sundry? Your deepest thoughts and feelings? I think not!
Despite the blurb at the start of the heading 'add a journal entry' we don't all 'lead interesting lives' and my days do not 'buzz by'. If I wrote my average day down for others to read it would in fact be a better option than mogadon!
Perhaps I could market myself as a soporific and make millions!
ho hum...

On the contrary, hearing about your average day would be a highlight for me. I miss spending time with my kids so much, hearing the stuff you get upto with Charlotte helps me through the day.
So come on, don't be scared, put fingers to keyboard and tell us what you been doing.

Aw shucks... I'm touched, SDM remembered my big day out at the supermarket - you see I do get a life - I get to go to Waitrose!
Well, you asked for it, further journal entries will appear and woe betide anyone who falls asleep at their desk reading them

Not dull at all, I'd say! You've just taken the time & troble to say happy birthday to someone you've never met,& what's more you're probably telepathic since he is in fact FRENCH!!So very much & if you know anyone else who'd like to follow suit the link is F19585?thread=226748
I know what it's like to feel a bit "overshadowed"; he's a musician (& translator); right now he's in the studio recording a demo. I hate it when people say "what do you do?" & usually mumble something about being a writer & artist, but unless you "go out to work" they tend to view you as a useless parasite, sitting at home "being creative" doesn'nt seem to count.
I hasten to add, Mick-Chan doesn't see it like that at all & is thoroughly supportive so I suppose I'm just letting off on behalf of all "just a housewife" types everywhere!
I don't have kids (unless you count grown-up step-kids), but used to be a teacher, so I know how much of a full-time job you've got!
That charity lot sound like a pain in the derriƩre, reckon you're better off without them; & no, I wouldn't give them any free advice except where to stick their work!! I've had some dealings with "charities" myself who give the word a bad name,so I sympathise.
Why is there no "writer" smiley? I'm campaigning for a "thinker" smiley amongst others, I might add this to my list!
Bye for now, give Charlotte a big from me!
Stay Terri.
