Hi to you again, kept looking in to see if any more messges from you, and none, so you must have been busy with getting more stuff on your site. We have had a few nice days, not exactly Barcelona weather, but warm for us, then today, back to normal, rain and wind, and the central heating on.
Hello.

Hello there. Nice to hear from you again. I decided to try and brighten up the page a bit but it took a while to get the hang of it. I think I'm making progress at long last. It's warm here at the moment but it seems that there's a cold front on its way down again, back to the seesaw weather again! At least it's nice to see that the leaves on the trees are coming out now. In Barcelona there are trees in almost every street so it's wonderful when you look along the streets and see so much greenery. Have to dash, it's time to go back to work. Hope you are well, D L

Gardens, that's what I miss here. Living in a flat with a balcony is not quite the same although I do have about 50 plants of varying shapes and sizes on my balcony. It's amazing what can be grown in a pot! I have lots of flowers out now, freesias and jasmine (beautiful smell!) begonias, tulips and kalanchoe. Very pretty. I even grew tomatoes last year but most of them were eaten by the pigeons that seem to use my balcony as a resting place! Best thing about plants in pots is that there's not much weeding to do! It's bed time now, so speak to you another day. Take care, Suz.

Hi to you, your page is coming on a real treat, looks really good. Not got into this very much, still get lost an awful lot. lol lol. I love to read too, but my daughter says I read trash, but what is trash to her is good to me, she says they are all about rosy cheeked maids who have a poor time of it, and then come good. lol lol. I like Agatha christie too, also Catherine cookson type novels, the ones you can put down and pick up with no trouble at all. Catch ya soon.

Hello there. I also like the kind of book you can take up and put down as I always carry a book around with me and I always read on the bus. Agatha Christie is good for that. In fact I think I have all of her novels and I constantly re-read them.
As to my page, I must admit I spend a lot of time on it and every time I go there I decide to change something so next time you pop in it will probably be completely different.
Have fun, speak to you anon,
Suz

I think you are very clever, would not have a clue how to go about making my page as good as yours. Its been really hot today, I bet we have been as warm as Barcelona, went to sit out, and lasted for 10 mins, then had to come inside and cool off. The days have gone when I tried to tan, but all I succeed in doing is going bright red, and sore, unless I use a very high factor, and then I just stay white as a sheet. lol lol.
What age group do you teach? Just a matter of interest to me, not being nosey (well not really). How is your son doing on his move out into the world on his own? Hope he is ok, and that you have settled down to him moving on. Speak to you soon.

Hello, it's me!
From what I've seen your temperatures have been just as high as ours. Make the most of it! Today it's been raining on and off but we could do with a downpour to get rid of the dust.
Thank you for your comments regarding my page. Each time I'm there I change something so it's under never-ending development.
I teach in a private language school and most of my students are adults, I'm not sure that I would have the patience to be with children for more than five minutes now! Must be something to do with age! My son is still at home, looks like it'll be the end of the month when he finally makes a move. To be honest I rarely see him anyway but he's always here for meals though, never fails to turn up for food!
Will keep in touch,
Suzanne
By the way, if you want to see some pictures of Barcelona, I've put a link on my page.

Hi there sorry I am not sure where to post this message you told me to say hi and thats what I am going to say. I have asked these questions to others on this site but I would love an answer from you too. Am I the only newbie around at the mo? and how did you know I was going to stop by? I am starting to get a bit nervous. Anyway thanks for the cake and Archers and lemonade is my fav drink thanks

The sun has gone, and we have rain, so I will send some over to you. It must be interesting teaching adults, I bet it is much better than young children, like you don't think I would have the patience to deal with a class of mischief makers. At least when they are adults, they are coming to class as they really want to learn, not like school which is compulsary. I will go and take a trip round Barcelona when I have posted this. Keepy happy. xxxx

Hello there,
It's a holiday in Spain today, Day of the Worker, so this worker is trying to do as little as possible in order to enjoy her day! Luckily, it's also lovely and warm so there are lots of people in the streets enjoying the sun. When my son wakes up we'll probably go down to one of the bars with a terrace where we can sit outside and have a drink. That's the life! (Back to work tomorrow though!)
Hope you are well,
Have fun

I hope that you enjoyed your Day of the Worker, lol, lounging in the sun, thats the life, but you will be back at work now. Not looked in for a few days. We have rain, and rain and rain, lol, they tell me the gardens need it. lol.
I have got myself a part time job, in a local clothes shop, for 12 hours a week, and I am so looking forward to starting it. I start next Wednesday, and think I shall really enjoy it, they seem a nice lot of folk that work there, and think I shall fit in with no problems. xx

We had a rainy day here yesterday but as it's not that usual, people are quite pleased when it does rain. I never thought I'd ever want it to rain! However, you can have too much sun, you know and when it does rain here it doesn't last very long. At least it cleans the dusty streets.
I hope your new job goes well. As it's in a shop you'll get to meet lots of different people all the time and that'll be fun! What kind of clothes do they sell? Part time work is great as it gets you out of the house but you still have time for other things (like h2g2!) I work full time and I never have enough hours to get everything done, it's very frustrating sometimes.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the job, take care, Suzanne xx

Hi Suzanne, Sorry taken my time in getting back to you, but been busy with going out to work. lol. I don't know how you manage a full time job, and a home too. I am all at sixes and sevens. The shop sells reasonably priced separates, and is a very busy shop. I am sure I a going to love working there. The staff are all very nice, and the customers seem to be a friendly bunch too. We have heavy rain at the moment, and its cold, put the heating on. the sun is trying to come out, but its soooooo cold. shiver shiver shiver. Keep up the good work with those adults, get them fluent in English, then they can come on here and post to you. see you soon. xxxxxx

Hi there, I'm afraid I've been rather amiss with my correspondence lately. Someone I worked with died recently and although I've been coming in and out of here quite a lot, I haven't really written much.
Glad to see the job is working out well. I've been working full-time, non-stop for the last 26 years! It just becomes second nature after a time, organisation is the keyword. I would like more time for myself sometimes but I really enjoy my work although I occasionally think that perhaps working a few hours less per week would just give me the time I need.
Summer has finally arrived here (bit early!), yesterday the temperature was 75ยบ and by the weekend it's supposed to be much higher so hopefully I'll be able to go to the beach for the first time this year
I hope all is well with you
take care, Suzanne xxx

Hi Suzanne, Sorry I have taken so long to reply to you. Organsiation is not something I am good at, nor spelling when I look at what I have put. lol. Still enjoying the job, and spending time with my Dad, he is getting a bit better since losing Mum, but still has his moments as we all do. Its been hot in the UK for a week or two now, and it knocks me out, not good in the heat, and not got a skin that tans either, so its the shade, and plenty of high factor sunscreen for me. xx
