im just guessing here, but are you either a woman or a sissy. Rugby union is not just played by the welthy and powerfull, but is infact a sport for the masses. and the likes of jonny wilkinson show a level of skill and above all sportsmanship and honour that is not seen in such sports as 'soccer' (football to any british man) or athletics. im sory if any of this is found to be offencive, but you mustn't have played union at school.

I'm in total agreement with Dr Foottocks. Players of this sport share values unheard of in soccer.
1. Don't fake injuries or make poor imitations of a fainting Grace Kelly
2. Don't leave the field without extremely good reason
3. Never, ever, complain about the weather. If the Earth is still in it's place (and not obliterated by the Vogons), the let the game commense.
4. Don't talk back to the ref, instead buy him/her a beer in the clubhouse afterward. (S)he'll likely turn up at your next home fixture
5. Always applaude the opponents after the game. Can you imagine Roberto Carlos applauding Thierry Henry after a Cupfinal? Don't think so...
the list of Rugby Ethos could go on for ages. My point is that the world would be a better place to live in if everyone followed the ethic codes of rugby union...
Cheers
