I was asked if I knew what the code for getting a smiley etc. to scroll right to left (or even left to right) was, and I don't know. So, what is it?

Um, that would be using the tag. There's various options but if you just write <SMILEY TYPE="smiley"/> then it should work. The options are direction and speed but I'm not sure what the variables are called.
