*LuLah Sighs* Here we go again...
as my name suggests, i subscribe more to nohilism rather than christianity... so i look at the bible as someone else would look at a magazine...
something that annoys me about the human race is the perception that God is all good... God has no control(if there is one). People say, aah, but if there is a God then why are people starving, why is there AIDs? God throws tehse obsticles into the lives of His believers to test their belief, test their love for him... Satan has an easier method: indulge in all the joys and "sins" that God denys you, and you shall lead a life of happiness, of prosperity etc and will of course lead you straight to hell...(i will come back to this). Where as Gods method of control is to leave everyone to their own and let them make up their own minds, to make sure you reserve your place in heaven once you die, you deny yourself the "sinful" pleasures us meer simple mortals live for and by serving the lord your life you shall recieve a place in heaven and shall resign in bliss and immortality in the kingdom of god.
aaah, something else that annoys me is that people always worry that if they have sinned that they shall not get into heaven(if there is such a thing) but God forgives all who ask for forgiveness.
on a slightly more unanswered note... a question i suggest is that, if there is a heaven and hell, and a god and a devil, then why would the devil punish anyone who joins him on the dark side, why shld he punish any sinner?
whould that not mean he woz helping God?! i think not...
anyway, enough with the religious ranting...
