h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Alright, so i haven't been hanging around on h2g2 as much as I use to. That makes me sad. Oh well, not much can be done for it. Anyway, my life has been entertaining to say the least and i've managed to keep my self plenty busy since my last journal which was...(checks)...back in july, oh my. Looks like i have a lot of ground to cover. I finished out my summer as a camp councilor. It was most likely one of the greatest jobs I will have ever had. I have loads of wonderful camp stories, which I may tell if you ask me nicely, ever listen to a random conversation of mine, or purchase my memoires.

Now I'm back to the college thing, in wonderful Lincoln, Nebraska. I have it pretty easy class wise this half of the year. Though i'll most lilely have to make up for that in semesters to come. OH, on a side note i am no long the broadcasting major that I once was. I am now a psychology major, HOO-RAY! What's the connection you ask. There isn't one, I reply. Just seems more like where i feel called to be.

Along with college classes I am also very involved with the church here on campus. I'm involed in the worship team, singing and playing guitar. I'm participating in a Bible study on prayer, very educational. Also, I am one of the leaders of "Freshman night" where we have games, food, and Bible studies with a group of freshman from around campus. I am also attemping to mentor one of said freshmen in his spiritual journey. Thus I'm to be found at some point to be in the Lutheran Chapel at least 5 out 7 days of the week.

I also happen to be in a long term, rather serious relationship that has been going on for ONE YEAR and 2 days now. It's fantastic, Lindsey is an amazing woman of God. She's genuine, inteligent, beautiful, and one heck of a good cook. Only problem I can spot with her is she has yet to read the Guide, though she assures me she will at some point. I have faith in her.

Looking at what I've said, it seems my life is going really well, I've been tremendously blessed thus far. Now I guess I'll just wait for things to come crashing down because they can't get much better.

Well I'd best be off, Bible studies to plan and such. So i guess I'll close things up.

Your post just made me really happy!! I am so excited for you!! God is using you and it is evident that you are truly enjoying yourself this year!! I wish I was there to actually see it, but alas, I am not!! Maybe sometime I'll actually get to see you, until then...I hope your life keeps going as well as it has been!!

Kudos for being involved in Bible Study. I hope that God really shows up in your meetings and such. It's really good to hear someone talk about how well things are going instead of being emo, I think it really blesses the LORD.

Chauncery, perhaps we could get together some time over Christmas break? Is there not some big hoorah or somesuch before DZ crosses the pond? If there's not there should be and if there is I should know about it.
