This Saturday?!!
Erm.........
Looking less likely I'm afraid
But you will approve - storyboarding a music video (unforunately, out of London). One day, it will be more than just the one beer.....

My cousin and her band - they are extremely good, and they need it ready before they head to the States (talking to a few labels over there).
But I do feel guilty that in the past three years we've managed to spend about 1 hour in the same place. Totally my fault

Well, it could be considered my fault for living 500 miles away... although for some of that time I was a mere 350 miles away and it didn't make any difference.
Go on then, give the band a namecheck so I can boast about how I knew them before they were famous...

Anemo.
Sounds rude, but isn't.
And how was the meet?

*makes note*
The meet was most enjoyable. It's amazing how much more intelligent my quiz team suddenly became after I bought the quizmaster two pints of .

Been far too long since I muddied my feet in H2G2 waters - felt it would be rude not to say hello...
How are things?

And where the bloody hell have you been?
Things? Things are... well, unusual, to say the least. Seeing as you clearly haven't read the relevant journal entry or followed the relevant links, you may wish to look here: F10027?thread=444579

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Erm, sorry bud.
But I have to say I was suffering from a slight sense of shock when I read the baby name thread last week - wasn't entirely sure whether it was just a bit of fun or not. Had a quick trawl through your last few months of journal entries but saw no real goss on your love life...
Sense of shock is obviously tinged with much disappointment for you now - but I guess these things work out for the best.
My best mate got married a couple of years ago - they've had two miscarriages in the first trimester. The first one happened two days after he'd got really excited and told lots of mates (even though they advise you to wait a lot longer) - so I sort of have a handle on the mixed feelings that can go on here. But not as much as you, I'm sure
Been beginning to feel grown up and slightly broody myself this past year - spent a few weeks in Oz with my (almost) teenage nieces and realised what having kids was all about... so good luck mate, I'm still hunting down a suitable woman to breed my empire

Yeah, it's a bit of a bugger... I was only just getting used to the idea of having a kid when I suddenly had to get used to the idea of not having one. We weren't going to tell anyone until after the scan, but inconveniently the summer meet fell at around the 8-9 week mark, and we couldn't think of any other plausible excuse why fords wouldn't be drinking...
Anyway, at the risk of lapsing into cliché, time to look to the future I think.
"I'm still hunting down a suitable woman to breed my empire"
Is there such a woman?

The problem is - or should I say - problems are:
Deciding which one is right for me
Convincing her that I'm right for her
Managing to do this before I die.
Any tips?
