How Can I Edit a Large Entry?

This problem seems to be getting worse. Today I tried to edit an entry that was less than 800 words in size, and it wouldn't let me save my changes.

I still haven't got any reply or acknowledgement from the e-mail I sent to the tech people.
This is becoming too frustrating for me, so:
- I'm not going to write any new entries until it is fixed.
- If any changes are required to the 13 entries I have in Peer Review, I'll remove them from Peer Review until the problem is fixed.
