h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hiya!

I forgot my old password so I had h2g2 send me this email I can link to 'my space' from. From there I can hit 'Preferences' and now want to change the old password into a new one - but the sys wont accept my entry.
Whenever I enter a new password in both fields and then hit 'update', the page will simply reload to its old content, including the old password.

Any suggestions?

Good news - you have updated it! Regardless of what your password is the field shows a standard number of *s. This is a security device. It prevents people from seeing your password.
