I discovered something unexpected about the journal. If there's been a conversation on a journal entry, and the conversation's over, and I stop following the conversation, the journal entry also disappears.

I had dredge the journal entries up and post little smileys on them to get them back in my journal. Of course, now they're also back in my conversations.

Is this how the journal should interface with the conversation list?

Yes, that's exactly how it works - the journals displayed on your page are those to which you're still subscribed. It just makes a simple way to remove journal entries from your personal space.

Oh, okay. If that's how it's supposed to behave, I can work around that.
