Hello
I have dropped a goolie. I have registered for H2G2 on my competer at work but have stupidly ticked the box "Always rember me on this computer" and subsequently cannot access 'my space' on my home computer. How do I get around this poblem or how can I access the dialogue box to un-tick it?

You don't need to. That button only affects the computer you're currently using - it doesn't log you out at home. As long as you know your login name and password, you can log in at home as well. More than one computer can be logged in to the same account simultaneously, as long as they all know the password.
