The second-largest country on Earth, this confederated collection of angst and complexities tries to maintain individuality immediately north of the United States of America, the most influential nation and Canada's largest trading partner.
Contains two major identifiable groups: English-speaking citizens who think the country would be just fine with less French influence in government, and French-speaking citizens who think the country would be just fine with absolutely no English anywhere. In addition, there are many who fall between the solitudes, who actually run the country and get things done.
Can be thanked/blamed for most American comedians, some British tourists, and nearly all United Nations peacekeeping missions.
