h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

My favourite charactor is Marvin. His sense of humour and comments on life are enlighting. I enjoyed the scene where He is left to stop the frogstar robots with nothing, yet wins the day ending with the phrase 'what a depressingly stupid machine'

Yes Marvin is easily my favorite character as well. There he is at the end of the Universe having been left behind during some adventure or other, parking cars for The Resturaunt at the End of The Universe. Everyone's sense of guilt at having left him to fend for himself for all eternity vanishes quickly as he starts droning on about "here I am with a brain the size of a galaxy parking cars, don't mind me... etc" and everyone can't wait to dump him again.

Marvin is not necessarily my favorite character- but he's definitely up there. I like his conversation with the mattress on Squornshellous Zeta. "I hate and despise you all" is a phrase i often use (in jest, of course)

I remember his quotes better than anyone else's from the radio and tv series.

I love the Marvin songs! There's four of them that i know of.

The best thing about him is that he has no sense of humour! Whatever he says he means, which makes him all the funnier.

Marvin sings??!! My life is not complete obviously since this is the first I have heard of it. Can I download the MP3 files off WinMX?

I remember i used to hear a song about marvin on the Dr. Demento radio show- I think it was called "Marvin, i love you." Anybody know anything about it?
