Naming Suitcases

1 Conversation

People think it's odd that I name suit cases. But I don't see why, it seems like a perfectly logical thing to do. Because suitcases are rather big, clumsy things, which are stored it the strangest places, it's often hard for girls to fetch their own suitcase. So if you're sending someone to get down your suitcase, it it much more specific to say, "Be a dear and go get Naomi for me" then it does to say "I want that black one with the little strappy thing," because you'll most likely see 3 black suitcases before you actually get the one you want. But logic really has nothing to do with why I name my suitcases, you see, I name everything. It's a compulsion. So when people know I name everything, it seems even more out of place for them to surprised that I named my suitcase, no? Why would a suitcase be exempt from naming?? I just developed this identification theory so other people will think it's a good idea and start naming all thier suitcases too. That way people won't think I'm so strange for doing it myself. So join the revolution and name your suitcase!
