In memoriam...

Today would have been my mother's 80th birthday... but she has died 3 years ago, just 4 days before her anniversary.
We have lived together and argued and loved each other for 33 years, so it was and it is still not easy for me to know that I will not see her again.
I knew she was dead when my brother-in-law phoned me at 6 in the morning... it's a time when you know something bad has happened when whoever calls you...
I spent hours sitting by her side then, and she looked so small, much smaller than when she was alive...
I didn't want to visit her on the day of her death, I'll rather be there today to celebrate her birthday.
