Normal?

1 Conversation

Since I started to read the guide on mental illnesses I began to wonder, why is there no book on normal? In theory we all like to think we are normal however after reading that guide I think I suffer from, at least a dozen, mental illnesses. Could it be possible that if you are a neurotic person that is normal? Or obsessive compulsive truly is normal? When this book on Normal is written another big question pops up, how did they determine they were an expert on the subject and is it the truth? Could mental illness be a figment of our imagination or then again is it normal. Perhaps the reason there is no book on Normal is simply because no one is normal. That thought just is too bizarre to hang on to!

Anyone with thoughts on Normal?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
