Interesting entry. I always wondered, because there is no specific bird called seagull.
Not that you can do anything about it, but in my opinion the Glaucous Gull should have been (Larus glaucoides) and not (Larus hyperboreus).

Yes, that does seem strange at first glance that the Glaucous Gull isn't (Larus glaucoides). I see that it was once known as Larus glaucus, and Larus glaucoides means 'similar to the Glaucus Gull' - I added a footnote
