This displays the text between the <sub> and </sub> tags as a subscript.

Syntax and Usage

This is an HTML tag, so it can be upper or lower case, but we recommend lower case.


<sub>...text...</sub>

Simply put <sub> and </sub> tags round the text you want to be subscripted.

Known Issues

None.

Example

We breathe a mixture of O2 and N2, and exhale CO2.


<p>We breathe a mixture of O<sub>2</sub> and N<sub>2</sub>, and exhale CO<sub>2</sub>.</p>
