Fridges etc.

Life's a fridge and then you die,
There is no point or reason why,
You put something in hot, and soon it's cold,
You put something in fresh, and soon it's old.
If you open the door the light comes on,
Close it again and the light is gone.
(And let's face it most of the time we do seem to be
just groping in the dark)
(Not that I've got anything against groping in the dark, you understand. In fact, it is often the naked truth of light that disappoints.)
(I think, I was just saying that it would be nice if I didn't stub my toe on the strange items in my house that only exist when I can't see them.)
