instant coffee

I believe that the term instant coffee is misleading and the companies can legitimately be taken to court and sued due to the trade descriptions act. This coffee takes almost as long as filter, almost as long as percolator and more than expresso so whats so instant about it? We still have to boil he kettle. Are we meant to be impressed that once hot water is added to the granules that suddenly they vanish to be replaced with brown coffeeish tasting water. as paul daniels would say "you'll like it, but not a lot." It doesn't taste particularly good but still we labour under the idea that because it says instant on it we are better off. It like we're all children again, "OOOOOOOHHHHH. FREEZE DRIED!!!!! VERY SPACE AGED.LIKE WE'RE ALL ASTRONAUTS!!!!!!" Stop the madness and boycott 'instant' coffee and go back to drinking proper coffee again. In the name of all thats sacred, won't somebody think of the children.
