Today I lead a contingent of cyclists from Deal (where we live) to Sandwich (where we work).
More properly I think that the collective term for cyclists is probably either a pound or a sweat.

However we did this 7 miles journey to celebrate a number of things:

o we are not slaves of the car

o we can choose to cycle when we want

o the joys of June (when it stops raining)

o the fun of doing things together

This is the third year that I have done this. I have another 18 years before I retire. Will I make it to 21?

Who knows? But we will have fun meanwhile … and cut down on the car fumes.
