American football is the Platypus of Earth sports. I mean that it's in a group of it's own. It's the only sport that i can think of where complete satisfaction can be obtained by beating the stuffing out of the opposition whether they have the ball or not. It's the perfect sport for people who can't run fast, have no particular talent, but have urges to break bones.
So, i say, is it a platypus or not?
