A Girl and Her Imagination

"Imagination is the purest expression of desire. What else are dreams? With Imagination there is no limit...all things are possible and, for a moment, probable." Anna Williams

As a child I dreamed of being a princess in a forgotten world, alone with the animals and my vast kingdom. No doubt that this was a result of the hours spent watching Disney movies every afternoon. When I saw my first Pg-13 rated movie, everything changed. I was no longer a princess. I was Agent Lee, a field agent for MIB. (Men in Black for those not familiar with the anagram) I spent my time in fantasyland hunting down alien-scum that dared mess with me and my planet. I always won. Soon it became boring just being an agent. I sought new fodder. It was at this time that I discovered The Dragonriders of Pern. I became Lessa, Weyrwoman and friend of Ramoth. This soon became boring though, as the only thing Lessa did was defy F'lar. I did'nt think it was worth my valuable imagination time.

It was'nt long after that that I became aquainted with the His Dark Matierials books. The hours I spent talking to my imaginary Daemon was absurd. That phase lasted an entire year, ending when I first discovered and began to watch Digimon- season 1. It was then that my Daemon evolved slightly to a Digimon. Spiritmon, who could digivolve into basically any digi-form. she was very nearly invincible. As I continued with this latest TV obsession my imaginings turned into continuations of the show. I developed new strategies, new characters and new storylines. Then I lost all intrest. Typical.

I'm not quite sure what my next adventures will be, but if my impressionability continues, it may be very strange indeed!
