I looked up the rivers and my reference book says that the Amazon is 4,080 miles long and that the Nile is 1 of the 10 longest rivers in the world it splits into 2 (the white Nile and the Blue nile) so still dont know!!

in actual fact where the missouri and mississipppi meet up if the lower part of the missouri had been calleed the mississippi it would b the longest
