Do you know what happened to the north american indians?
It's one big stupid story of grief, suffering, and a chonic lack of respect for them...it's horrible stuff..."the present" you speak of, in which we have lost this respect seems to extend both ways into time for pratically the whole of our existance, with only a few micro breaks of sanity in one form or another. Sometimes I wish I could go back and fix things, but that's usless, we have to focus on now, it's /so/ extreamly difficult for people to do, though, I don't know why, but they just seem to think that things are allways better as they are, or they are striveing in the wrong dirrection (or no direction at all).
Er...I believe I'm ranting a bit....
