Fascinating how we find new things thanks to diversions! That stretch of M56 is relatively new (it was opened in about 2010, if I recall correctly when I first used it), but it's not a road I often follow either, as the M56/M53 junction is definitely a habit.
"So, even if you think you know your home turf, be prepared to try The Road Not Taken, it might just be a shortcut home!" -
