|Keçi Adası outlined|
Through the open windows.
Mist burning off the Aegean,
As morning welcomes the heat.
A sublime horizon awaits our adventure.
Yet the scene pales,
Not wondrous enough to compare.
Enraptured by the view,
My wife sits, legs dangling, gazing out,
Simply cradles a cup of tea,
Cold now, forgotten in the morning splendour.
That wonderful view, forgotten to me,
As lose myself, again,
Watching the morning sun trace
The beauty that is my love.
