Not seen most of those as they are quite American .. there does seem to be a certain irony though, in the number of times Americans have proposed and portrayed the destruction of their World Trade Center...

Also the Statue of Liberty - from the iconic image at the end of 'Planet of the Apes' in the Sixties to Season 3 of 'Man in the High Castle'.
I wonder what it is about destroying monuments, anyway? The toddler urge to knock down all the blocks, or shades of 'Ozymandias'?
