Pierogi the Kitten

To begin with, this is a pierogi. The Polish dumplings are popular in western Pennsylvania. The picture on this page is Pierogi the kitten. Your guess is as good as ours as to the connection between a small white kitten with a striped grey cap and a yummy filled dumpling. Just enjoy.

Pierogi's a sweet kitten. She's very friendly, and didn't even mind the huge five-pound dog. Well, not much, after she'd joined in the chorus of kitten hisses to prove just who owned the territory around there. She's having a bit of trouble with one eye. Antibiotics are being applied, and we wish her a speedy recovery.

Post-Memorial Day Update: Pierogi has found a happy 'forever home' along with two siblings. The kids fell in love with her.
