Thanks for having a re-read. I've tweaked the sentence about the 'British invasion', hopefully it is clearer now. I've also moved the section about British Television in the 60s up close to the top, so this defines ITC and other television companies to begin with.
Do you mean there are people in the world who do not know that Diana Rigg played Emma Peel?

Well, as Diana Rigg was also a Bond Girl, reminding people she set trends as Emma Peel is useful, I think

I read that Diana Rigg as Emma Peel was the first character on television to regularly use kung fu – but I've not been able to verify that, so I've not included it. Definitely ahead of the crowd.
