h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I just found myself in http://www.lulu.com, looking for Pastey's book, as I coincidentally received an e-mail from lulu today. I couldn't resist looking around at some other books while I was in there.

I like online bookshops that are arranged into categories like actual bookshops are, and I also like it that I can browse the books without other people seeing what I'm looking at in case they disapprove (not that anyone would really be worried about what I was looking at, but unsurprisingly I did feel as though I had a massive sign over my head when I sat looking at a bookshelf in a store, which did have a large label on it saying what type of books I was looking at )

Last year, I completed NaNoWriMo and I took advantage of the prize to get some copies of my novel printed, and today (for the first time ever) I actually managed to find my novel in the website store! http://www.createspace.com/4294138 Just for fun (the quality of the writing is not all that great), I'm trying to make it into an e-book as well, which is a fascinating experience, as the format is quite different from a print book - the number of pages is a lot higher, for example.

A while ago, there was a thread in Ask about book covers, and one caught my eye today http://static.lulu.com/browse/product_thumbnail.php?productId=18670705&resolution=320 - I think it is an absolutely beautiful image with stunning colours, but unfortunately, the book's blurb doesn't thrill me at all... I'm trying to decide whether to go for it anyway and use it mainly as decoration, or whether to resist the temptation!

I'll see what my basket totals look like when I've added in the other books I found during my online bookshop browsing

Nope - the baskets were scarily large in price, so I re-evaluated and went for something completely different in an e-book instead!
