I rather like chocolate

I went through a phase of liking the Swiss very milky chocolate, but mostly I enjoy an average milk chocolate. A quality dark chocolate is pleasant too, in small amounts.

What I am enjoying at the moment is mint chocolate - I like the contrast of fairly bitter dark chocolate with the sweetness of mint fondant, or mint crystals, or peppermint essence mixed into the chocolate. Perfect with a cup of coffee in the afternoon, too

I love chocolate! which is why I try to not eat it, for about 11 months our of every 12.... I'm dangerous with chocolate... I will just demolish it, however much there is I've a plan to invest in a box of choc for Christmas though ... one of those big* tins.... and I guarentee it'll all be gone, before mid january Not had mint choc for ages though drool> which ones are particularly good? only ones I can think of really, are things like the after eight mints...

I like After Eights - I had 5 this evening

Ones with crystals in are Elizabeth Shaw, or Twilight

The other one I really like is Moser Roth (from Aldi) - it is dark chocolate with peppermint essence just the right balance of bitter and sweet

I'll actually just have to have a look, in teh shops that I can get too... as I don't eat choc often, I really have no idea what is about, other than ones that have been about for years! (helps I don't ever see any TV adds selling/advertising new brands/types too)
I tend to be a bit retro in my choc I guess... kitcat, twix, marathon (Oh, snickers if you must*), fruit n nut, galaxy, aero, double decker, twirl... boost... assuming of course they all still exist
mmm I seem to recal aero were good too and drifter...
I ate a whole small* box of quality street at William's last week... well, he had couple out of the bo I wanna big quality street tin, or roses though, for Christmas! it has* to be done and some nice minty choc too... and a box of Belgium choc biscuits... and after eight mints... damn... so muc for my weight loss

I absolutely love Fry's Peppermint Cream - peppermint, mind, in the green wrapper, not just the mint in the blue. And it has to be at room temperature so the fondant cream is soft and gloopy.

I haven't had one for ages, might have to look for one soon
