Sometimes, the offline world becomes a bit rough, and it is hard to do things which shouldn't be so hard... I see there are other hootooers going through similar things at the moment as well (w*rkwise), though, and that does help me to fend off the feelings of dejection.
The other good thing about h2g2 is that there are people around who are there to tell jokes or be interesting and provide distraction from negative vibes. And the best thing indeed is that I am a valued part of the h2g2 community.
NaJoPoMo has been great so far this year, as I have met more people, rather than just seeing them around - my Friends list has grown, and I'm amazed to see that my Followers list has also grown

In line with tradition, foodstuff it is 
as I will feel much better after a good meal 
and a blanket 
and a soft toy cat 
are just the things to cheer up a dark and chilly evening.
