Ah, I was wrong about Churchill. It wasn't at OWH at all. It was at the brilliantly named Cheesefoot Head, near Winchester.

Thanks Icy that was an excellent link. Do you know (you seem to know about this sort of thing) where you can find out about medals and why the were awarded.

What medals in particular, Bob? I don't know much about them at all, I'm afraid, but I'll happily help research something for you.

I think you should provide links to GoogleMaps, rather than providing longitude/latitude coordinates.
You've given the length of the ditch in metric, accurate to the nearest hundredth of a millimetre. There's no way they measured it that accurately. Can you please express the distance to the nearest metre?

Hi Bob, this is a lovely entry
I'm not sure why the title is "Old Winchester Hill Hampshire 1017899" though
I do think your footnote 2 about the butterflies, along with your ID list of them, should be in the text,
Other than that I think this is ripe for picking and ready to send to a sub-ed

This entry is about the hill, rather than just about the hill fort, right?
So you should start by talking about the hill, not the fort. You can mention the fort briefly in the introduction but leave the detail for the section with the header "The Hill Fort". The bit about the bronze age cemetery is out of place too, as it is in the section about the Hill Fort when it in fact predates it.

I did personally I think it looks horrid just breaks up the text and not everyone likes butterfly's
However I go with the majority

The start of the entry still needs to be restructured slightly so that the introduction talks about the hill, and then the section "The Hill Fort" talks about the hill fort.

That's a bit better, but now you talk about somewhere called Old Winchester Down and only mention in a footnote that it is the Hill or the site of the hill.
Can you please start the entry by talking about the hill.
Also, as I said before, you've given the length of the ditch in metric, accurate to the nearest hundredth of a millimetre. There's no way they measured it that accurately. Can you please express the distance to the nearest metre?
You've a strange number in the title. Please remove it.
All of these are things you were already asked to do, Bob.
